I really like the fact that I'm pretty much able to "get up and go" whenever I want. In fact I've been that way most of my life, but especially now that I cleaned out my parent's house completely over the past year. There's nothing left there: it's either in the trash, in the back of my car, or fits neatly in my very small bedroom in my grandmother's house. I don't own a house -- in fact I haven't lived in one place for more than six months since high school. But I did just purchase a car about a year ago, and while it's financially limiting, it's also liberating in a get-up-and-go way.

Keep me posted, too!

Very excited that you're going to be trying some minimalism out! I'm trying to get my belongings down to 200 items and eventually 100. Of course, that doesn't include perishables but as long as they're not taking up every spare inch in my place, I will continue to exclude them. I'd love to be able to just pick up and go when the mood strikes so I'll be getting rid of a lot of "standard" items in order to do that.

Keep me posted, k?

Yea, it definitely sucks. I wasn't listening to streaming music on my computer at work for a while anyways because my headphones with a long-enough cord were broken, but then when we heard that they banned streaming music/videos, I just gave up and settled on my phone. I keep seeing all this stuff about Grooveshark and I haven't been able to figure it out yet!

Gosh I wish I liked green peppers more than I do. I love them cooked but cant seem to eat them raw. We'll see, great suggestion!

Haha that's so funny you're still surviving off of CD's. This morning I'm really into "Dominos" by The Big Pink and "Stillness is the Move" by the Dirty Projectors. Completely new music (at least for me, hehe). Check em out!

Ooo, $4 a day! I think that's doable...would love to hear what your fav options end up being. I use green peppers in a ton of stuff, especially because you can use them in a lot of different cuisines or fast meals. They also keep for a decent amount of time. And your music, I haven't added anything in probably a year. Yeah, I know. I even have a couple CDs (cause that's what I get for the car) that I really need to upload. But there are some things that I've had on some kind of mix, mp3 player, ipod, or itouch since high school. Let me know if there's new stuff you find, too. Maybe we can both broaden our horizons.
